2-Chlorobenzyl-3,4,5,6-d4 chloride is labelled 2-Chlorobenzyl chloride and it is a reagent used to synthesize piperidine derivatives. Piperidine derivatives can be used to inhibit human heat shock protein 70 for treating drug-resistant tumors. 2-Chlorobenzyl Chloride is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of benzothiazole derivatives bearing indole-based moiety which can exhibit anticancer activity.
