Sodium Bis(Trimethylsilyl)amide Solution is the sodium salt of Hexamethyldisilazane (H296700), used in the preparation of 5-azacytidine, an antineoplastic drug. Also used in the preparation of β3-AR agonists used in anti-stress formulations. Also used in the synthesis of glycosidase inhibitors doxymannojirimycin and swainsonine.
