6-Phospho-L-glucono-δ-lactone is a racemic enantiomer of 6-Phosphoglucono-δ-lactone (P353740), it’s other enantiomer is the primary oxidation product of enzyme glucose 6-phosphate oxidation. 6-Phosphoglucono-δ-lactone is a substrate for lactonase from Mycoplasma synoviae 53 (MS53_0025) and Mycoplasma agalactiae PG2 (MAG_6390).
