[3-(Trifluoromethyl)cyclopentyl]hydrazine Hydrochloride is obtained from 2-Cyclopenten-1-one which is a chemical reagent used in the synthesis of LY354740, an important glutamate receptor agonist with anticonvulsant and anxiolytic properties. Also used in the synthesis of Armillarivin.
