Tris[[2-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)ethoxy]methyl]methylamine can be used in the synthesis of optically degradable dendrons for temporary adhesion of proteins to DNA. It is also used in the preparation of tricylic polyamide receptor for carbohydrate recognition.
